I could say it's just autumn… you don't have autumn there, do you? I mean in the sense that we have it here…
[once I wrote this I felt the urge to YouTube this old song called 'Autumn' - it's a big classic that most people of around my age and older know by heart but must look and sound weird for someone who doesn't get the lyrics and context, so don't try to get the song but you can still see the picture]
Autumn is the time when things die, so it's a very melancholic season. You can't help feeling things since the world first goes wild with color and then loses warmth and life. Poets love it. Depressed people love it because it's the best time to go depressed.
